From 5 to 8 November, Milan’s Fabbrica del Vapore will host a new edition of Convivio, the long-established charity exhibition and market bringing together creativity, culture and social commitment. Four days dedicated to discovery and conscious shopping, with an aim that goes beyond the worlds of design and fashion: supporting the research, prevention and awareness initiatives of ANLAIDS Lombardia ETS.

Now in its seventeenth edition, Convivio introduces a new perspective this year with Giocare in Casa, a concept entirely devoted to the Home & Lifestyle world. Furniture, home accessories, tableware, art, vintage and design come together in an experience that explores new ways of inhabiting and interpreting everyday spaces, through unexpected encounters and combinations. The initiative follows a long-established tradition: participating companies donate their products, which are offered to the public at special prices, with all proceeds going towards supporting the projects of ANLAIDS Lombardia ETS. Alongside the charity market, the programme includes talks, cultural events and a dedicated space for the prevention of and awareness-raising around sexually transmitted infections. Rometti is also taking part in this edition, contributing two pieces: Presenza by Ambrogio Pozzi and a Sfera Pianeti by Jean-Christophe Clair. Two creations that bring the language and distinctive sensibility of ceramic design to Convivio, becoming part of a project in which objects take on an additional meaning: making a tangible contribution to a shared cause. Taking part in Convivio means turning an everyday gesture, such as choosing and purchasing an object, into an opportunity for solidarity.
