From the University of Washington to the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, from the IID Istituto Italiano di Design and the NID Nuovo Istituto di Design in Perugia to the Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Portugal, six young designers will join our workshop to bring their ideas to life.
THE SIX FINALISTS
OF THE 2026
ROMETTI AWARD

The Rometti Award was created to offer emerging talents a unique opportunity to engage directly with our historic manufactory, fostering research and innovation in the language of ceramics.
This year's edition once again attracted projects from leading Art Academies and Design Institutes around the world, reaffirming the Award's increasingly international outlook. The jury, made up of industry experts and chaired by Ugo La Pietra, selected six projects distinguished by their design quality, originality and contemporary interpretation of ceramic art.
From 20 to 24 July 2026, the finalists will take part in an immersive residency within the Rometti workshop, working side by side with our master artisans to transform their concepts into finished pieces. An experience that offers a direct encounter with the material itself and with a craft tradition that continues to evolve while remaining true to its identity.
