The release of the Rometti Award 2026 Call for Entries marks the beginning of a year that will bring to our Manufactory new collections born from unprecedented collaborations, the debut in production of a project developed during the 2025 Award, and—above all—the publication of 100 – Rometti, the volume dedicated to our centenary.
ROMETTI AWARD
2026: AN INVITATION
TO IMAGINE
THE FUTURE

Announcing a new edition of the Rometti Award is always a special moment, but this year it carries an even deeper resonance. The official call is now available, inviting students, young designers, and emerging creatives to engage with contemporary ceramics through their own interpretation of our distinctive language.
The competition is open to schools, Academies, and Universities, asking participants to submit an original project capable of entering into dialogue with the Rometti identity. The selected proposals will have the opportunity to be developed alongside our master artisans, transformed into prototypes, and evaluated by a dedicated jury.
Yet 2026 will be far more than a new edition of the Award: it will be a year in which ideas take shape more vividly than ever. Early in the year, we will unveil new collections created through previously unseen collaborations with designers who are joining the world of Rometti for the first time—collaborations we have been nurturing for some time, and which will introduce fresh sensibilities, new perspectives, and different ways of interpreting the material.
There is also a project to which we are especially attached: one of the prototypes presented during the Rometti Award 2025 will officially become part of our production. A choice that confirms the true value of the competition which, for us, is never merely a creative exercise but a fertile space from which ideas destined to endure can emerge.
2026 will also be the year leading into our centenary—a milestone that reflects the quiet strength of the hands, ideas, and individuals who, over a century, have shaped the history of the Manufactory. We will celebrate it with the publication of 100 – Rometti, published by Officina Libraria, curated by Nicoletta Giannoni, with a contribution by Lorenzo Fiorucci and photography by Monica Spezia, whose extraordinary sensitivity captures the most intimate essence of our story.
A competition looking to the future, new collections ready to unfold, a book that holds a century of memory and vision: it is within this atmosphere of anticipation and creative ferment that the 2026 edition of the Rometti Prize comes to life.
All information regarding requirements, participation, and deadlines can be found within the official call.
We are ready to receive your projects—and to be surprised once again.
