Studio Mamo

Art in constant migration.
Theirs is a design nomadism that delineates a professional activity that goes from design to decoration, to interiors and a search for new concepts of living, and migrates via different projects requiring comparison between distant areas and worlds. Studio Mamo presents itself as an incubator of ideas, concepts, projects, products and materials that mix and intersect continuously. Lorena and Andrea have specialized over the years in creating home collections for important names in fashion, ranging from textiles to furniture and decoration. In the area of interior design they have developed various projects including that of Villa Oro in China, in the centre of Shanghai, whose aim was to recover the architecture of the existing building, an eclectic style dating back to the ‘30s, and to create environments full of charm in which traditional elements and details were enhanced by added design pieces. The studio designs collections of furniture, accessories and objects, including lines of decorative pieces of the highest craftsmanship - as in their collaboration with Rometti.

Lorena D’Ilio and Andrea Mamo, a couple of eclectic and curious creators, are constantly searching for the new and unexpected.
