For Rometti, Design Week 2025 was much more than a showcase—it was an intense experience, a collective journey filled with relationships, creative exchanges, and deeply moving moments. Every project we participated in contributed to the creation of a unique, coherent, and collective narrative, where ceramics became a living language, a vehicle for connection and reflection.
Rometti presents a preview of its collections at Maison & Objet Paris, featuring works by the visionary artists of contemporary design: Luca Binaglia, Sara Ricciardi, and Jean-Christophe Clair.
“La folle chapelière” by Chantal Thomass took center stage at the Grand Palais in Paris to showcase the new collaboration between the renowned Parisian fashion icon and the prestigious watchmaking house Jaquet Droz.
The winner is Giulia Russo from the NID in Perugia, who impressed everyone with her project “Ellenikà.” Second place goes to the set of vases “Il lungo, il corto e il pacioccone” designed by Iari Vanoschi from IED Milan. Third place is awarded to Mila Lumumba for the set “Gaia” from the CAD in Brussels.
A day full of creativity and excitement brought life to the workshop and its surrounding area, as it opened its doors to students from the University of Washington during their journey to discover Italian culture.
Now in its twelfth edition, the Rometti Award is a competition that bridges generations, bringing together the century-old expertise of the workshop with the creative input of young talents.
We are pleased to announce the finalists of the 2024 Rometti Award, who will participate in the exclusive internship in the company from 22nd to 26th July. Now in its twelfth edition, the Award celebrates and promotes emerging talent in the field of ceramics.
The celebratory event that promotes the art of Italian ceramics “Buongiorno Ceramica” will see Rometti as the protagonist in two stimulating contexts: “Incontrinterra 2024” in Deruta with the unpublished works of Jean-Christophe Clair and “The art of six sounds and ceramics through Italy” in Celle Ligure.
Two ribbons come to life from a single source, chasing each other creating spirals and volutes. They intertwine in an impetuous motion of pure energy, which escapes and craves its corporeal base. The Marcello Moretti Fine Art Gallery in Venice presents Arythmie, the solo exhibition by Jean-Christophe Clair, on display from 10th April to 12th May 2024.
