Born in Varese in 1931 and his talent growst with the ceramic tradition of Faenza and began working in the early 50s with the Ceramica Franco Pozzi in Gallarate, his father’s company which gives him strong impetus and artistic design.
Louis de Limburg Stirum
After working with various designer and architect, Louis de Limburg Stirum started his own company of industrial design. Its expertise, its accuracy in uniting technique and emotion of the object gave birth in 2012 to the lamp “Column” for Rometti.
The famed New York artist visited the company in 2009 and remained fascinated by the collections Rometti. She decided to create a series of ceramic koans (Coni), a key element of her artistic production, inspired by the dynamism of kinetic art.
Lorena D’Ilio works in Milan as a designer and art director, with her creative team, the Studio Mamo. Her research ranges between matter, shape and color with contaminations style.
Sergio Fiorentino was born in Catania in 1973. After classical studies and the Academy of Fine Arts he started a long research in the field of design and decorative arts of the twentieth century. In 2011 he resumed painting.
Jean Christophe Clair
Passionate of the arts in their many facets, draws from them as an inexhaustible source of creative inspiration. Particularly interested in applied arts and the arts of the stage, he is formed in contact with different teachers and institutes and acquires from them their technical mastery and a keen sense of form and color.
Born in Perugia where she graduated at the Institute of Fine Arts, then continued her studies at the ISIA in Rome, graduating in 1991 with 110 and praise. While staying in Rome she experienc with other young designers innovative materials, often combined with techniques of craftsmanship.
Multifaceted artist and imaginative: designer, architect, sculptor and goldsmith, is the author, among other things, of objects for furniture such as lamps, tables, chairs and sofas that are real sculptures with a the visionary and inspired content.
Born in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany in 1964. She took a degree in Industrial Design at the HFG University, Pforzheim, Germany in 1994. She started her career at Atelier Mendini in Milan, where she worked for Alessandro Mendini on projects for Abet Laminati, Alessi, Hanssem, Ilva Pali Dalmine, Koziol, Leonardo, Luxo Italia, Philips, Quartiere Maghetti Lugano and Swarovski, Milan 1995-1999.
Gabriele Mengoni was born and lives in Gubbio (Pg). After attending the Art Institute, ceramics section, soon began to work in the factories of ceramic of Gubbio where he learned the techniques and art typical of the place from the reproduction of ancient specimens to the production of “bucchero” up to experimenting with shapes and innovative designs.
